What do you drive?

Ford Fusion here. 28mpg I believe.
Seats fold down quite easily, the catch is actually in the trunk which is handy.
The trunk btw is huge!

Quite high and deep. I bring along my dolly, PVC pipes, lighting gear, etc... with no problems whatsoever.

Tons of leg/headroom. I lent it to my Father in law (6'2") and he was impressed.

Just bought an '06 Honda Pilot a couple days ago. I'd prefer an Element for toting gear around but for us it's a family vehicle too. So 8 seats wins. When all the seats are down or even just the 3rd row I can stow quite a bit of gear.

Not a bad ride at all. Did a lot of research beforehand - really reliable and has great safety ratings. I guess the cons would be that the body style is kind of bland and the gas mileage is nothing to write home about.

Oh man, the Element is absolutely one of the most hideous cars on the road, hands down.

Honda is usually on point with their vehicles but what were they thinking with that one?

It's not flashy but I've always thought the Element was a great looking car. To me what you just described is a Scion. :)

I've heard lots of people disagree though. It's a love it or hate it design I guess.

8 seats! 6 kids? You don't need a Pilot. You need a condom! :)

Subaru Baja 5 speed manual. I like the truck bed for throwing equipment in and not worrying about messing up the interior. It's also good for thowing a camera man in and getting some nice shots.
I only go with Subaru and Volvo since I find them to be very safe and I love how subarus drive. Gas is the only issue since both companies only make 4wd these days.

2001 Subaru 2.5 Impreza RS coupe. Have had this car all up and down the east coast. gets around 400 miles per tank or more. Need to get a wagon and an auto trans as im so burnt on the 5 speed manual.

That's why I hate it. It reminds me of a Scion.
Honda Elephant. Blah.

I took the surf softies off and threw on some solid racks to carry the crane, and a "basket" to strap lights to. If you haven't been in one, there is CRAZY ridiculous space inside these. Of course i did get surf attachments for the new racks.

I used to get 35 mpg, but I'm averaging closer to 25 now. I need to take it in.

I am buying one of these next week. can't wait to wrap it, gut it, and Grip-truck the insides. My friend is selling me his for $2500.00. Then I will get rid of the Outlook. Real Nice but Payment is too high.

2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer (Great for hauling gear, treadmills and dead bodies. Not so great on the gas mileage - about 15-20)

1979 Trans Am (Not great with the gear...or the gas mileage. It's also in the middle of a restoration. But it goes fast!)

i actually have a camry and a focus. it makes me mad when i pull up to the pump and see a bunch of people still driving around in large SUVs like Nick has. what is wrong with you nick?! :badputer:

That Trans-Am is my Dream car. I have been wanting one of those since I was a kid. I wish I could afford a Toy. Maybe I could attach a trailer to it.
