What do you drive?

I know they say it's a 'chick' car.... but that 1994 Miata (5-speed) is a hell of a lot of fun to drive fast.
It's kind of like a go-cart compared to the Road Runner, but that's a different story all together!

I actually had a '90 mx-5 before the s2000. the s2000 drives a good bit like it, just a little tighter handling and steering--and engine is in another league. i had a pontiac fiero before that. people always talked about how great handling that car was, but it was nothing compared to the miata i got right after it. it's pretty obvious why that car is used by so many that race

2006 International 20 foot grip truck for heavy lifting. For the lighter stuff a Lincoln Navigator and for fun a Mercedes Benz SLK 350 Roadster. The oil companies and insurance companies love me!

Hahaha!

I'm in the hunt for an SUV. I'm pushing the limits of my old but awesome '97 Toyota Avalon with 170k miles. I've loaded so much gear, the trunk hatch is starting to warp. Load it to the gills, including 8 shot bags, and it rides lower than low.

I think I'm really interested in the Suby Forrester. My brother-in-law just got a brand new Subaru and loves it, and it sounds like it's pulling its weight (haha) for folks on this thread.

In the winter I drive my 1994 audi 90 CS Quattro - the pic is when it has its summer wheels on.

And in the summer when Im not driving around in the Audi I terrorize the streets with a 300hp 1979 mk1 Rabbit :D

Since the back seats dont fit with the roll cage I have quite a bit of room for things

Freightliner 7 ton. It gets about 5 miles to a gallon. My other car is a a Ford f-250 turbo diesel. If you have big stuff you need big trucks.

Holy Hell. That is gigantic.

I have a Dodge Nitro for work and I just bought (and am restoring) a 1964 Triumph TR4 for play.

Won't be done for about three or four years, I am estimating, but I can't wait. I'd like to get it finished before I'm 30, but that's very soon. Need higher paying jobs!

Here is a couple pictures of my car:

And here is what I want it to look like when done:

I am being completely financially irresponsible doing this. But I guess focusing on restoring this car is therapeutic in my own way and likely better than picking up a drug addiction or alcoholism... It keeps me out of trouble, is what I'm saying.

Peugeot 206sw, 1.4 liter 16v flex (gas or alcohol), incredible economy, comfortable, fast and spacious. Totally unavailable in the U.S.

I am driving a Renault Kangoo, plenty of space and compact...not good for freeways...but it manages... and I've been able to put a 1 ton (aprox) lighting/grip kit inside it (not to be done many times if you want the car to last).
A picture of it not being treated well enough...

I love you guys in the states! Fuel here is near to $9 a gallon, making some of your vehicles impossible to own here in the UK. So next time you moan about fuel costs, spare a thought for us!

Honda Odyssey for bigger shoots, when i need tons of gear. 24mpg. With seats out or down in the rear i can throw large amounts of Pelican cases and light stands in the back, and still haul three or four crew. I drive a VW Jetta TDI on many shoots, and it's my daily car, 55mpg, huge trunk that takes a lot of Pelicans (out of sight too), along with some light stands. I use the TDI more than 50% of the time on shoots.

lol i'm driving a suzuki wagon r+, the grandmothers car everybody laughs about :) and yes its really ugly haha, BUT: it really offers a lot of room for its size! 30mpg

(Not my pic) After having 3 kids I picked up some swag early last year, white toyota sienna- really comfy, nice sound and 0-60 in 7 flat, not bad for a minivan
; )

I loved the Smart. Here in Canada we had them since 2004 and since I live in Toronto, I never needed anything bigger. But then we adopted a child and actually needed a third seat. So, I decided to get the car I lusted for when I was a young teen... the legendary Golf GTI. Got my extra seats and kept it euro :)

@bgundu I love smarts, always toyed with the idea of dropping a BUSA in one, did you enjoy it? Why the golf?

I drive a Jeep Wrangler.

There is no other vehicle for me.

also lugs gear for shoots and powers lights with a inverter.

Honda Odyssey for work: Low lift height, more comfortable ride and way better fuel economy than SUV. Alfa for play.

My current gear hauler is a Mercedes Sprinter van which has served my needs very well. It's peppy, gets great fuel mileage, and holds a boatload of stuff. The other big plus is I can stand up in it without having to worry about hitting my head.
