Mac or PC, What do you use to click?
I just orderd a MX518 From logitech, and i was wondering what you guys use.

MAC. I use a Logitech TrackMan Wheel. Just roll the ball around with the thumb, right handed, leaves the left hand free for the pen and Wacom tablet.

i use the clicker for my iBook G4 laptop.. no need for a mouse

You like using that thing? I can't stand using the touch pads on laptops. If I ever buy a laptop, I'm gonna have to buy a mouse to use with it.

I have a generic 3 button scrolling optical mouse that I'm mostly using right now, but I also have 6x9 Wacom that I photo edit with and I have a ShuttlePro2 for editing.

I will often get on a kick where I use the Wacom for everything and not use the mouse, but the 6x9 is so small and I have a dual display - a 22" CRT @ 1792x1344 and a 19" @ 1600x1200 - so that's alot of real estate for a poor little 6x9 to cover. I wish they'd make a hot button so it controls a single display then I hold Alt or a special button on the pen and it lets me switch to the other. But they dont give me the love. So my little generic optical mouse does the heavy lifting.

TouchPad, double tapping the touch pad to actually CLICK! =P

And a Wireless Microsoft Mouse. If you've ever used them, you love them. They fit so perfectly into your hand.

I've sworn by these Kensington trackballs for years. I've had them for my Macs years ago, and for all of my PCs. Now, I have the most current wireless version (I use it without the included wristrest shown below). You tend to get very adept, and hyper-accurate with trackballs, IMO. Also trackballs allow you to precisely position the cursor, let go of the ball, and press the selection button only--meaning, you can "select" something with no risk of moving the cursor by the incidental motion of depressing the selection button.

same here. I use a mouse.

I never liked touchpads on laptops either. Hated them! Really only liked the "mousestick" thing that IBM ThinkPads had.

Oh dear. My dad bought trackballs for years - back when the only comp in the house was his. (Yes kids, there was a day when families had only one computer and junior did not have his own dektop and laptop.) I hated that thing.
