The metabones adapters go on and off as easily as changing a lens.
I am a huge advocate of the speedbooster models, when possible. You get a MASSIVE sharpness boost comparing the same lens at the same apparent aperture. I've shot with some cine-modded manual nikkors in 4K, they really couldn't hold it together above f/4 without a speedbooster. There are three different things happening optically that improve your resolution. The image circle getting smaller reduces the CoC. The extra stop of light means you stop down, increasing sharpness. And the optics of the speedboosters are designed to compensate for sensor stack thickness differences between your photo lenses and your camera.
