I just got two iscomorphot adapters from craigs list. One is a MC 16mm 2x and the other is a 16/2x. . Can anyone tell me about them? Did i throw away my money?..lol They also say ISCO-GOTTINGEN

That's a good deal. The 16/2x is very useable. Not sure exactly which one the MC is but if it's a 2 part lens you can mount it with an adapter.
 
Many anamorphics were used for projecting. Some of them were also made for filming. These are the ones to get.
I think the 16/2x is a very useable and nice lens with 5ft minimum focus distance.
I don't know about the MC. What is the minimum focus distance?
You would need a clamp to mount these anamorphics on your taking slr lens.
And $50 is definitely a good deal.
