GH2 What did i do wrong?

I hacked my gh2 for the first time yesterday. I did a few test shots of blades of grass, i saw a little flickering but not too bad. I took the camera today to a paintball tournament. When i got home, and reviewed the footage i had some crazy flickering going on.
I set the bit rate to 42m, and to gop 6. I only have a few sd cards so space is an issue. I shoot in 720p 60. What did i do wrong?

Sorry for the bad camera work, i usually edit this down to a few second clips. This straight from the camera, no editing or grading.
watch in full screen. The flicker is harder to see on the smaller frame.


I was really pleased by the color i was getting, and the paint splatter looked amazing. I did not get that before.
 
You GOP is too big. try something like 3 for better results.
What you see are the b frames loosing definition.
Yo should look around and use a hack setting that is known to work instead of tweaking it yourself.

I believe you are correct. I just tried the 88m gop3 low light setting. i didn't touch anything and it worked perfect on the first test shot. Just sucks that my 2 1/2 hour recording time just went to 1 hour. I'm going to use this setting on the field tomorrow.

Have you considered using the 24L to keep your running time?
I usually use the 24H for fiction and things where you can say: okay, let's change the card take 2 min break.
I use 24L when I am shooting for non job things (home video).
With the hack you can set your 24L to whichever quality you want.

Also what size is your card? 32G?

I have 2 - 16g and 1 - 8g. both are class 10.
