What determines the 1DC 4K 24p & 1080 60p output?

Tried to find a thread where this was sorta discussed before on another camera using an external recorder for clues... where a camera outputs 1080 24p and 60i... there was a discussion in that thread I believe... could an external recorder record 60p... so I started thinking could you do this with the 1DC and get 4k 60p output out of the camera...

I pulled the below info off of the Nanoflash website...

Upgrade the video/audio quality of your existing camera:
4:2:0 → 4:2:2 (color)
1440x1080 → 1920x1080 (full-raster)
25/35 Mbps → 50/100/140/160/220 Mbps (bit-rate)
Compressed 16-bit audio → Uncompressed 24-bit audio

So if a camera normally outputs certain specs to a card and the recorder can record higher specs from that same camera... could it be possible that a recorder (Aja Quad) could pull 4k 60p off the 4k sensor of the 1DC... and yes I know other cameras can shoot 4k 60p.... just wondering is all since I'm a producer not an engineer...

The pipe you use to get the data out of the camera needs to be fast enough too, and HDMI won't do 4K p60, even in its fastest current version (1.4, which I'm not sure is what you'll find in teh 1DC). Also, you have to read the sensor fast enough (and probably when recording 60 fps this sensor is skipping or binning lines or columns), and have to process the image fast enough (even sending out that "uncompressed" stream requires a lot of processing, e.g. debayering each image).
