What codecs can one transcode AVCHD to in FCP 7?

Greetings!

I haven't been able to suss out this info from any documentation or reviews... can someone with FCS3 let me know what options are provided in "Log and Transfer" for transcoding AVCHD footage (from HMC150)? Is it still just AIC or ProRes, or can one choose between various flavors of ProRes? I'm hoping to be able to use one of the new lower-bitrate ProRes versions... I'd also like to be able to downscale, but that may be asking too much...

Sorry... just to clarify... are you saying you CAN choose between ProRes 422 and ProRes422 (HQ), but CAN'T choose ProRes 422 (LT)?

I thought ProRes 422 was ProRes 422 (LT), since the only other option I have in Toast 10 is ProRes 422 HQ

FCP7 supports:

1. pro res 422
2. pro res 422 HQ
3. pro res 422 LT
4. pro res 422 (Proxy)
5. Apple Intermediate Codec (AIC)

all at different data rates and in some cases color space.

yes, you can elect any one those codecs when doing the L/T in FCP7
