What camera tests can we do for you?

Hello all, thanks for the valuable information in this user group. We have been shooting our feature film (Block Party 2- HK Pictures/Most Wanted Films dist. by Maverick Entertainment) and decided to just take the safe road due to time spent with the camera prior to filming and go to tape. However we are experimenting with the hvx and live capture, a P2 card exchange method, P2 card to external hard drive direct, hard drives that give optimal performance (like a LACIE external), etc. and will post our findings. This is a great camera, there are a number of myths on this discussion board that we hope to prove right or wrong.

Our team is highly capable and I would like to invite any requests for tests as we are putting this camera through the ringer. Please post your requests and we will get to them and post results here.

Can you do a test on the camera and asertain the approximent ASA of the camera. And also test to see about how many stops of exposure latitude the camera is reading. Thanks.
