yeah I was joking. It does look like it has a cine alta logo on it but it's not high enough resolution. Where is the recorder? What is the silver box on the back.
The box on the very back looks like a preston-type wireless controller.
I never used the SSD but it was a very trick bit of equipment back in the day - stores uncompressed (or lightly compressed) 4:4:4 HD video. Very radical for the time.
Camera is F35. Very back is Preston MDR control box, next is an SDI output box then the camera body. Genesis does not have any Cine Alta logos as it's not a Sony design, although they were the manufacturer. The camera has a bit wider stance than F35 due to how the boards were placed inside. Unlike the F35, the Genesis needed no fans running for cooling as the design and board positions allowed for the body to be a big heat sink. Recorder in this case would be at the end of dual link SDI cables off of the crane. The SRR1 not seen here, was uncompressed video recorder. Video once recorded had to be played back at real time to either a tape deck or encoded to data with their Digital Transfer Station. It was a rock solid device that production could depend on. It again could run with no fans. PV knew how critical soundmen can be relative to noise in set.
That camera delivered some of the best images in HD you have ever seen. Many television shows and tent pole feature films were produced with that camera.
