Okay everyone, this is meant to add some humor on a dreary day.........
Hi everyone, I am looking for a camera to complement my audio gear. I normally run audio on set, and I have found I would like to add a decent camera to my equipment list. I am a one man show, and I want the images to match the level of sound I do.
I don't have the money to hire an operator, so it would need to be press play and go. I know all of you are going to tell me RED, AF100, C300, HVX, T3i, 5DmkII, etc. But I really don't have the money or the time to learn those cameras. I need stellar DOF (oh, and I don't want to be changing lenses every time I turn around) and instant color grading out of the box. Must shoot 442 Pro Res, and have pro level audio hook-ups.
I don't have a lot of money to get a lighting kit, so it has to be able to work in low light well and make the highlights pop. Basically, everyone, I want "Hollywood level" images to go with my sound, because, as you know, the visual is almost 50% of a good movie.
Sound familiar? Just switch the audio and camera aspects around, and you will see the humor in it.
Yeah, just trying to be funny........and maybe a little venting too. And make a small point.
