What camcorder to buy?

I Have read all about all. I'm undecided on either Canon Pro-XL 2 or Panasonic AG-DVX100B? And I'm still indecided if buy DV or HD (Canon A1 or Panasonic HVX200) version. IF i shoot the same scene in SD with either a DVX100B or a HVX200 (in DV) will it be look exactly the same?

I can spend 5.000,00$ for produce some short-movie that couold look filmish, as shooted on film. What do you suggest?

Go HD if you have the budget. The HVX can shoot either DV or HD so you can do both and keep your investment future proofed for a number of years to come.
