What cables do I need? Rebel T3i with Juiced Link Dt454

I purchased a Rebel T3i and I am getting a Rode NTG-2 and I already have a Juiced Link dt454 pre-amp. I am going to be running this into a Tascam DR-100 for external recording. There is just a huge mess accumulating at my house. What audio cables do I need to get? I assume XLR to 1/8? I'm sorry for asking this.

If you have the NTG-2 and the DR-100, the JuicedLink shouldn't enter into the equation. The DR-100 has XLR ins with pre-amps. While the NTG-2 has lower output than some shotguns, and isn't always the best match to the pre-amps of these little recorders (which aren't always strong enough to drive the NTG-2), I'm just not so sure that the JL is going to improve anything and may just end up making it worse.

The DT454 offers 16db of gain. It could help, and possibly offer phantom power for longer than the DR-100. Note: Try to avoid using the NTG-2 on AA battery power. That mic is 6db less sensitive when used with battery rather than Phantm power. That is significant. And now that I think of it, this could be the reason for the reports of low signal with NTG-2 going into DR-100 or H4N. People slap the battery in to save batteries in the recorder, and bam - -6db is equivalent to cutting the volume in half.

If you must use the DT454, you should pick up a Rode 1/8"(3.5mm)-to-XLR adapter for 10 bucks.
