You'll definitely want the VWVBG6PPK battery, it's $165 on B&H currently but runs like a champ. If you shut your LCD you could run it for 4 hours, LCD open around 3.5 hours.

On the upside from the DVX (whose batteries do not work with the HMC) it now displays exactly in minutes how much of a charge you have left.
