I watched the 2nd "Alone in the Wilderness" movie. Pretty awesome. The visuals in Chasing Ice were awesome.

as mentioned The Act of Killing is powerful and unique, also The Great Hip Hop Hoax, Pussy Riot a punk prayer, and Black Fish - the whale that killed are all great doc Ive seen in the last few weeks

oxyana ...

the act of killing was tough .. i usually can disconnect from a movie but this as it went own i was like these dudes are really ok with this

Jiro Dreams of Sushi was nice. Was shocked to see it was shot with a 7D, but after knowing that, i could spot it. Didn't affect the feeling though. Super well done.

I saw a frontline piece on the house of Saud the other day, was totally different, hadn't seen that kind of docu in a while, was nice to watch a docu and feel like you're watching the news.

Just recently got the BluRay of TT3D - Closer to the edge. Did not watch it in 3D, but might be interesting to see how it looks that way.

It is one of the better sports documentaries I have seen in recent years.

Even my wife sat through the whole thing and enjoyed it (and she hates motorbikes)….

It currently has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
