What are you listening to now ?

I'm up to page 15.

Some links are not available in Canada due to copyrights.
Others are links to web pages. I pass on those.
Some links are dead.

So, from page 7 to 15...

Clair de Lune, I first heard that by Styx.
Debussy's Suite Bergamesque
I'm not posting a link for it. It's too heavy for that. It's on youtube.

Oh man listened to a couple of new CD's at work today.

One was "Sons of Sylvia"-Revelations Amazing vocalist! A couple of glitches on the engineering side, but the arrangement, style....... Love it!

The other was Robert Plant's new album. That one gives me a bit of pride  Something I can hang my hat on, if only in a itty bitty small way.

Well shi* man, why didn't you post it?

I'll post the first one. Let's listen to it. Don't make me work for it or I'll pass on it.

I can't for R. Plant's "Band of Joy". I have a thrice removed association to it. I will find a youtube link some one else did, though. Hang on.

I feel good tonight. It almost makes up for all the crap I deal with at the ol' day job.

BTW, anyone recognize "Sons of Sylvia"? Think TV competition a while back.

I notice some static grain in the video at around 2:02 and there abouts.
This version specifically....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVzvRsl4rEM

It could be compression but it looks more like it's intended. It stands out because it's not video grain, although it looks like video grain, just static though.
It's almost like a dirty lens effect. I'm leaning towards not liking that effect, if it is one.
Anybody else?

Here's a direct screen grab of what I'm seeing.
If your not seeing it, it could be related to my hardware.
This appears right around here on the timeline and into several more seconds of the video.

That grain around the persons face and jacket, is a static grain on my screen.

Yeah, could be my hardware, odd, or it's an intended effect or maybe just very fine dust particles on the lens considering they are outdoors.

Strange, it just caught my eye. I don't know what it is.

Don't think I've posted this one yet, close though.

Jeff Beck: Led Boots with Tal Wilkenfeld on bass.

I like that.

Go for it man. Getting through this thread has become one of my new spare time hobbies. In fact, it's a bit of a work out.

I'm on Page 27 and rolling along. A lot of variety here.

Neko Case - The Tigers Have Spoken, originally posted by JConnors was interesting. More lyric wise than musically. Cool though. I'll have to check out some more of her stuff later on.

The Killers - A Dustland Fairytale
