What are you listening to now ?

Haven't tried Pandora yet but will look into it.

I like to listen/watch the live 'Guys from Queens" station/broadcasts. The GFQ network as it's called sometimes. They're on Justin.tv somtimes as well as some other web networks. Good show. Always entertaining if your into radio broadcasts. I used to listen to WBZ radio out of Boston for about 15 years but I'm in a basement now and I can't get the reception. Good station for talk radio back in it's day. Might still be.

Also, yeah, Pink Floyd I like playing in the background when working. It kind of gives me a sense of inspiration. 'The Delicate Sound of Thunder' double LP/CD set has been a favorite of late.
Good band and easy on the ears.

Sorry for the long yt post. Delete it if is it's too much.

Saliva 'your disease' acoustic version. Hell yeah.

But then again, Avril's stuff looks pretty orchestrated also for a girl that doen't like 'phony'.
Then agian, I think she means 'phony' in real life. She has a point. She doesn't BS about what she does for a living so I think that's the difference. She knows the difference.

And that led me to, (out of somewhat frustration)...
What is the guitar players name again? I know he died a while back. Great Jazz guitar player.
(edit: F----...Pat Methany. Flawless player.)

Herbie Hancock on keys. Not sure the drummers name.

The great Jack DeJohnette is on drums. Pat Metheny is still alive—strange reports of his hair stalking ladies in London have been disproved. Dave Holland on bass.

I know. Theee most un-Kansas of all the early Kansas songs. But the video is pretty cool.
Carry on my wayward son. (I know, I know< I knooooow)

N63, yeah that's a good song.

Just one more. This is another oldy. Very bluesy voice out of that face behind it. More so than when I remembered it as a kid. Anyways, 'Hit the Road Jack'.

I like these campfire slash jam-night-at-the-local-bar acoustic versions and
then hearing the studio version from the same people.

I find the comparisons help me pay more attention to what I'm hearing from locals under no-production situations. I still find it hard sometimes.

A side note: On the schedule he's doing, I'm surprised he has a voice left at all.
That's extremely hard on the singers vocal chords and can lead to permanent injury.

Anyways, a decent enough song.
