What are the output frame rate choices?

I have my DVX200 set to record 24p 1080 onto the SD cards. However, when also connected by DVI to a PIX-E5--which is recording ProRes--the frame rate reorded to the PIX-E5 is 29.97.

Is there a way to set the output of the DVX200 to 24p, either at the DVI output or the HDMI output?

When saying DVI, I assume you mean SDI?

The SDI cannot output 24p as 24p, like the HDMI can. It outputs 24PsF. That's 24p encoded in a 59.94i data stream. You should be able to configure the PIX-E5 to record PsF footage as 24p. I don't know the PIX-E5's menus to tell you how to do it, but look for PsF and that should solve it.

The HDMI definitely outputs straight 24p.
