What are the indications that your camera is an "A" or a previous model?

I bought my camera from B&H on the 25th of March to take advantage of the IDX battery deal. That was after waiting an additional 3 weeks for the camera to be re-stocked at B&H. I am assuming that my camera is an A model, but is there a way to tell for sure? There is no indication of an "A" on the side of the camera. Is there something on the nameplate?

Just below the serial number plate on the bottom there will be an (A) sticker that has been glued onto the camera body. It is just below the serial number plate. You can not miss it. If the (A) is not there then you need to send your camera into JVC using the instructions on the JVC web site.
