GH3 What are the best M4/3rds lenses out there? Have to build a kit from scratch.

How does everyone feel about the lumix 25mm f1.4 vs. the 20mm f1.7? I was reading that the 20mm was actually sharper? Is there any truth in that?

I liked the wider 20mm focal length, but hated its handling (especially on the AF). I was forever getting my ham fingers in the shot. The 25 auto focuses quicker and the extra bit of speed helps at times. Out of focus areas are also smoother.

I'm leaning towards the Voightlander for my 25mm option, but will probably pick up the 20mm Panasonic for an AF option.

I have both but I haven't tested to see which might be sharper. Both deliver, but some of the time I prefer the more compact nature of the 20mm. The 20mm will have me working a tad closer for the same head size and might be my preference for working in rooms that are not very spacious, it's wider than the 25 but not wide enough to be a "real" wide angle.

The 20mm is also good for when you want to be somewhat inconspicuous and don't want to draw much attention to yourself. You even become close to "invisible" when you put it on something like the Olympus Pen.

The 25mm is more "normal", closer to the way our eyes see things, while I consider the 20 as a bit of a "wide normal".

I like them both.

Will the Canon adapters allow me to change the aperture on an EF lens? Would I be looking at the Redrock adapter? I have some of those cheap Chinese adapters for my NEX and a Metabones as well but I wasn't aware of what's out there that transfers the electronic info to allow for aperture changes on the lens.

There are 3 different ways to approach this... Basic adapter, Adapter with built-in aperture ring, Electronic aperture adapter.

At this point the electronic route includes... Redrock Micro, MTF, and soon Kipon.
