What are my options for handheld/steadicam DVX100?

Hey guys,

I'm shooting more and more with my DVX and my handheld just isnt cutting it with the pain in my arm from holding it in certain positions. Can anyone suggest some good devices on the cheap to use?

If arm pain is your problem, then things like a Merlin wont help. You need a Spiderbrace or some other such shoulder support. That, or a vest/armature support for a steadicam/glidecam, but those cost $$$$.

What type of shots are you looking to accomplish? Handheld and Steadicam are about as far from each other in look as possible.

Yeah, I know the description was a little bit odd, but I'm really looking for smoother shots. But if the device is out of my range, a nice handheld setup would be nice.

I've got a steady hand, for the most part. But it's just that after a day of filmming and trying to keep my hand steady, it gets a little tiring. It'd be nice to have something to help pull a little of the weight.
