what about filming a tv screen?

would the settings apply for filming a TV screen as to filming a computer monitor? or doesnt it matter.

i could get my camera out and see, but that peanut butter pie is keeping my ass in this seat!

Re: what about filming a tv screen?

the refresh rate of a tv is 1/60th of a second, however that is for each field. Idealy, for both fields to be captured you would want to set it to 1/30th of a second for progressive scan purposes, however if you are capturing in 60i your default framerate will work fine.

Re: what about filming a tv screen?

You can shoot TV screens perfectly satisfactorily at 1/60 (unless of course you're shooting a PAL television...)
