What about Film Grabs

[AQUARIUSDUDE]

I think there should be a section for film grabs as well, I know that this is a DVX site but if your going to include XL2, SONY than why not film? We are all artists and we want to share our work, we arent format racist are we?

[235 Studios]

we arent format racist are we?

Not that I know of. But honestly, how many posts do you think would be made to such a forum? My quess is slim to none.

[Barry_S]

I think a general section that covered clips or grabs from any other camera/manufacturer would be reasonable.

[J.R. Hudson]

And so what if we were format racist? What are you going to do about it?

[Daniel Skubal]

[HorseFilms]

Post the damn things already. That way we can see how much money we saved by shooting with the DVX.

[AQUARIUSDUDE]

Each medium has its own advantages and disadvantages, There is more to it than saving money, a good filmmaker wieghs all options a chooses based on a multitude of variables. I use the DVX 90% of the time. However I love to shoot on film, somethings I wouldnt shoot anyother way, that said I think the DVX is a remarkable camera capable of superb images. But we cant argue with the facts film is still very different than digital, Also I saw that there is a post for film. I dont know if that was there when I posted the original post or not but I just saw it so, I want to say that I think it makes DVX user a well rounded site and a good source of information.
