What abode do you live in?

You live in a pond? Sweet.. How do you keep your computer (first I said gear.. then equipment... everything sounded dirty so...) from getting wet?
 
3 bedroom Town house. With my wife, 2 kids and my Barrel Grill. I'm on the grill more than I'm on my wife.:love4: dammit that reminds me I ran out of coals.

This is good, Jake. You're quite a barbecue chef! What fascinates me is how you got it blood raw on one side and charred to a crisp on the other.
 
Everybody likes a little Bacon in their thread. And every thread is only one or two degrees from the Bacon.

Yep... I grew up out in the sticks in a farmhouse my great-grandfather built a century ago. I tried living in the "city" once, and nearly went nuts. Unfortunately, that whole commute thing makes moving back out into the sticks a bit tough, so now I live in a condo in the burbs.
 
I live in a farmhouse on eight acres half hour south of the twin cities. I have a porch that over looks a lake, and 45 minutes to down town Minneapolis.

Girlfriend and I share a 1 bedroom apt with decent living room space.

Our landlord is a jerk, so we can't play Rock Band. :(
 
I live in a little house just outside the downtown core of Toronto. It's okay, for now... it's better for me than living in the burbs cuz it's easier to get around without a car in the city.

I used to spend summers in the country (till 16), and I absolutely loved it. My memories of it are best described as Calvin & Hobbes-like . One day, when I have enough dough, I hope to be able to move out there permanently. You know, a nice sized lot, nearest neighbour at least a 5-min walk away, fishing/dirtbikes in your backyard, etc. It'll be swell.

BTW... this is Rydell (@ 3 mos, about 6 lbs). He's about 2.5 yrs now (and about 20 lbs).

(will post pics of house and present-day Rydell when I get to the desktop)

Four-level townhouse in Silverlake, just north of downtown Los Angeles, just south of Glendale, CA...

...been house-hunting, mostly in Silverlake, Pasadena, Alta Dena and Eagle Rock. Got a thing for Craftsman houses, looking to buy a 4-bdrm place in the next few months and rent out the townhouse.

Anybody want to rent a townhouse...?
