Hi there:

I was visiting a video rental house today and was informed that Panasonic just announced a four month delay in the release of the HVX200. Pushed out to like April.

Is that true? If so, I am extremely disappointed!

I've waited patiently, like a good boy, and was hoping for a nice Christmas present.

Let us know what's going on. Okay?

Thanks!

MIKE

I suspect that your house had some bad info.. it is possible however the first batch has already been pre-sold, so the next batch may be a month after the release.. even then though 4 months delay from now is only January, not April.

Well, to tell the truth, I think they wanted me to consider buying a JVC cam. I do have to say that the JVC is a gorgeous camera and I'd probably buy one if it wasn't HDV.

Thej guy at the rental house said he was just notified that the release date was pushed out four months from December. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

The release date in the US is December. Can't speak for outside the US, as they may not get it in December, but the US gets their first batch in December.

Hey, I'm #25 on the list at Abel Cine Tech. Was planning a big trip in January. Can you do me a favor and make sure they get at least 25 in the first batch of December?

Thanks,
