We're presently shooting parts of a feature at the new WGBH facility in Boston. Until yesterday I hadn't known that WGBH is very eager to attract productions to their facility, which includes a couple of very well-equipped sound stages (lighting+electrics included in the stage rental, which is good), a really beautiful audio recording studio large enough to accommodate an orchestra, and a very welcoming management and support staff.

If you are in need of stage space in the Boston area, check them out. Ed Chuk (ed_chuk@wgbh.org) is the Production Services Director, and a very nice fellow. Maybe they'll be able to cut the deal you're looking for!
 
WGBH has been behind a *lot* of good stuff. IIRC they brought 'Masterpiece Theater' to the US; the manager was telling me about the bookend sequences they shoot there.

Don't forget FRONTLINE- not a studio program, but probably the best investigative journalism on US television today- puts anything CNN does to shame.

Always impeccable (but never over the top) cinematography and editing, but the content (and intelligence) is always king.

Their recent WikiSecrets was a fascinating look at Private Bradley Manning, Julian Assange and the hackers who helped Assange.

Also, FRONTLINE'S The Man Who Knew, about FBI Agent John O'Neill, who had information on the impending 9/11 attacks, but was ostracized by the FBI because of his larger than life personality, a no-no in FBI culture.
Besides the incredible story and investigation, it features nice touches like bits of sounds such as "Hello, FBI" when talking about phone calls, and shots from on top of an elevator car (pulleys and cables), really nice touches...
