Got the battery plate and the sun hood within two days from North Conway NH
to the German country side. I appreciate this service very much. Thanks Sharyn & Olof!
Great piece of gear also. Let's go an shoot! and wait for the FW update ;-)

I played around the afternoon with the gear and I am really taken with the hood.
It's lightweight but very sturdy, it fits perfect and it protects the screen also. For transport
you can fold the velcro and cover the screen.
The battery plate has a metal basis, it's not too big so you can mount still a bracket
at middle thread.

What I am looking for is a smaller piece of velcro just for top and side protection
and 4inches instead of 8inches. It's great to have the big one but in most cases
a smaller one is enough. @Olof: maybe you can consider this als future additional
accessory?

That is a great idea Stephan. I will send you one as you came up with the idea.

And I will make a batch off them and put them up on the store as an option.

They will be $40.00, I will post photos here. And they should be on the store by the end of this week.

I am also making wallets for the SSDs that will be on the store real soon.

How is the warranty on these units if they fail in a different region than where you purchased it?

Considering importing a unit to EU from US.

Our warranty is worldwide, but shipping stuff to us from another country can be a pain with Customs.

Our policy is spelled out starting on p. 39 in the manual, available for download on our website. I wrote the thing fully knowing that no one ever reads the manual.
