Hi guys, About 7-8 months ago I sold my GH1 to get the Canon 1D Mark IV...Well I ended up spending more money than I wanted to spend with the Mark IV... And to be totally honest with you... I found working with the GH1 to be much more easier and satisfying.. So I sold my Mark IV and Ordered the GH1 Yesterday along with the Vario 7-14mm Lens. I do have a question to ask you guys though.. Does anyone recommend the Patriot LX 32GB Class 10 Card for the GH1? Or should I stick to the Sandisk Extreme III's... Glad to be back on the forum and happy to be a GH1 owner again :2vrolijk_08:

I'm guessing that's what he didn't like about it.

Class 10 is overkill for the GH1. I use Sandisk Video HD cards (class 4) and Sandisk Ultra (class 4) and have never had any problems. Class 6 will give you plenty of headroom but the GH1 bitrate is much lower than the Canon's so you really don't need a super fast card - unless you want to copy to your computer faster.

I can't imagine that anyone would find the 1D to offer a better video shooting experience. The 1D is the least ergonomically-suitable and user-friendly of all HDSLRs.
