Hey folks! I haven't been active here for awhile, too busy with other stuff. Summer was crazy.
So I decided to jump into this forum last November, and never really posted any footage... until now. Yes, there is digital crumbling on this clip(was a bad export and don't feel like re-exporting right now hehe). And bad edits. This is just a hack version to show people and get the idea of what I get to film. I chose classical music just to see mess around and see if it could work.
((MOVIE TEMPORARILY REMOVED BECAUSE MY BANDWIDTH HAS BEEN RAPED))
If you really want to watch it, message me for the link. My bandwidth exploded.
This is a little edited quick piece I threw together for a race I film called the D-1 Grand Prix. This was filmed in Feb with no formal camera experience. I wound up being the lead camera feed for 85% of the race onto the jumbo tron because the wireless signals weren't working for the Varicams. So the DVX prevailed this time around.
The company I film with Belle-1, they do all the jumbo-tron activity for D-1, Formula-D, and NHRA and sponsor the radio-communications helmets for the pit-crew to be able to talk to the driver. It was quite the experience.
Originally, it was filmed on a cheapo $80 tripod without a fluid head ((which is why the pans aren't very smooth)) But since then, I've gotten a DVRig Pro.
And since the D-1 Race...
This is what it looks like with all the knick-knacks attached when I filmed Formula-D race last month... Too bad I wasn't holding the cam when the pic was taken
but she still looks hot haha.
and this is what the DVX was feeding to the audience. The screen is approx 25 feet. The first jumbo-tron was only 9feet.
