Well, it finally came.......

Not good news.

I've never experienced a loss of a close relative until today. My cousin passed this morning. She was my sister in life and was only 32 years young and a single mother. I'm shocked, numb to say the least but damn... What a loss. Sitting with her mom and her daughter today was one of the most heart wrenching things that I've dealt with in a long time. Of all things she died from an asthma attack.

RIP Jenna.......

Coffee, I am sooo sorry! Needless losses are the most painful ones. I am truly truly sorry your family is going thru this terrible tragedy. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours...

Jay,

Wow, 32, that's devastating.

When those we love die young, it always seems to hurt that much more.

I am very sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry to hear that, that's a terrible thing to have happen. I know everyone's said it, but if you need to talk, we're here.

My thoughts are with you and your family.

I had no idea that an asthma attack could be fatal.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Yes, they can be very bad, even if you are able to manage your condition overall. My daughter was very asthmatic for about the first five years of her life. If she got a runny nose, she would be in full blown respiratory distress within hours, literally. So we had to keep rescue meds on hand at all times and carried her nebulizer everywhere we went. :(

Sorry for your loss, it's a terrible tragedy and your family is in our prayers.

On the plus side, you've still got me cuzin' ! :) Seriously though, if you need anything, be sure to let us, or someone, know.

Oh Coffee.......I am sooooo sorry. One of my brothers died young and it almost killed my mother. It was my second (youthful) family member loss and they are very hard to take. My thoughts and sentiments go out to you and your family.

Sorry to hear it Coffee--that's tough. I feel bad for you and your family--her daughter must be devastated. My only advice is to let it all out and stay surrounded by friends and family.
