Very nice. Good acting as well .... or maybe I'm blinded by the english accents ;-). Always good to see non actors pull it off like that. And after all that time I spent in Meisner classes in hollywood. The best acting advice I could give anybody is to just "be" in the given circumstances completely as yourself. It's up to the director to be a keen enough observer to spot the fake or acted moment. I think as a director, I'd rather find real people and just work with them. they can be so much more interesting than many actors at least at the indie level.
 
f64manray I definitely agree. I try and cast non actors who's natural behavior evokes the characters. Usually I'll end up writing with specific friends in mind.

Definitely, I meet so many regular people that are loaded with character. Put them in the right role and they'll shine. Sooo many people that want to be actors are just boring pretty people that ....well, want to be actors. At least that's what I gleen from watching some actor's reels. It gives me new appreciation for Keanu Reeves.
