Weird, wild stuff...

I have something shot with the HVX (720pn) which I'm working on and have several weird things happening.

First, the color on these scenes looks completely different when viewed on my computer monitor and on my 17-inch Sony HD monitor which I have set up to be my "Desktop Cinema Display." The obvious response is that one needs calibration, but other stuff I've shot looks fine and consistent on both.

Then, when I compress the piece, everything looks consistently color corrected except a serious of close-ups which cast blue. But this only happens when I compress the scene. If I play it back in FCP in the canvas or to the HD monitor, there is no inconsistency of color throughout the piece. Anyone have any ideas?

Try the technical section for this.

Also sorry to hear about the issue, I hope I never have this, and I hope someone has so you can get some resolve.
