weird TC/recorder behaviour

Hi all,
I have a question, my camera (100dvxa) is doing something that I never noticed before and i wonder if is due to some configuration error.
While the camera is on and not recording, the «no tape» warning signal flashes once, then the TC display goes reset, then the TC and REC/PAUSE info dissapear (then I hear the tape mooving back and forth), then the proper TC number re-appears, along with the PAUSE display.
This happens frequently, while I am not recording. While this happens, I cannot record. It seems the camera looses the tape and TC info and performs this action to retrieve it.
My TC settings are REC RUN, REGEN (25P Mode). User bits are default.
The camera came back from cilinder replacement on thrusday.

Did you ever solve this problem? I'm having the same problem, and the panny repair place can't figure it out.

I'm having an exact same problem for a few monts now. Camera is in the shop right now. I'm not holding my breath though. When I brought it there, technicians were trying to convince me for half an hour that it was normal -- they say it prevents heads from wearing excessively. What a bunch of cr*p! I'm glad to hear I'm not alone though. It's not that I'm happy about somebody else having this problem, just glad that it's not just me going mad.
