Hello everyone.
I have the same problem once in a while and it's excruciatingly annoying.
When I mix different formats in a sequence and render the clips that don't match my sequence settings. After rendering those clips play very fast while the audio stays correct. The playback shows the images go very fast, the clips cutting to each other very fast while I'm still on the first clip on the timeline and then it goes to black.
It is very weird and makes me think fcp purposely wants to make me fail and loose money.
More details:
- Mac book pro from 2006
- FCP 6.06
The problem can arise whatever format I work with. It happened with Jpegs, HDV...
At the present case, i wanted to put some 1440x1080 app pro rez clip from their matching sequence onto a 1920x1080 h264 sequence and it did it again.
frame rate are the same, so shouldn't be the issue.
I trashed the fcp prefs, rebooted etc... it didn't fix it.
Does anyone else have this issue? what could it be?
Thanks in advance
