Weird pet peeves?

no kiddin....especially the crusty green ones.....the ones in the side pockets of your car doors...

hell....pennies and cars combined=bad news

This is one that most people probably have a pp about on the opposite side, but... I really really hate it when people do not pronounce the long "A" in words like Bag, Lag, Rag, Hag etc. There is this sort of made up sound that is used in the better part of the west that is kind of like rahg or bahg... it's like a less obvious "Valley Girl" sounding "A" sound. Maybe some of the Canadians, Northerners and Easterners have my back on this one... If you feel what I'm saying, then we need to unite to let people know the truth. It's a long "A". Deal with it.

:)

When people praise "brilliance" that I think is just standard ****. There are SO many people that have pointed out the scene in "A Beautiful Mind" where Russell says that none of the guys should hit on the best looking girl because then they'll all go home empty-handed. Even in the flick they faded out the other girls and then the beautiful one... like "holy cow! this guy's a friggin genius uh-huh"...

"Wow that IS smart... didn't you think so?"

...meanwhile I'm wishing I had an advil for the incredible headache I'm getting because everybody in the room thinks this guy's a genius for being Mr. Obvious.

1) All of the morons who go slower than I want to on the freeway.

2) All of the crazy idiots that are going faster than I am on the freeway.

3) Idiot posters whose ignorance is only surpassed by their willingness to show it.

4) Airport security that does more to inconvenience the public than to provide any real increase in the level of security.

5) The motor vehicle bureau of any state that I've ever lived in.

6) The fact that virtually no one that works the counter in a fast food joint (except for some senior citizens) knows how to make change without the screen telling them how much to give you.

7) People that ***** and moan all day/every day about what's wrong with them. Like I'd care.

People that put the toilet paper and paper towel rolls upsidedown and people that close twist-ties the wrong way.

Certainly one of mine also...

To piggyback that, people who don't replace the toilet paper role in general, especially when there is enough to last a year within reach...my girlfriend is this person... she just stacks it on top of the new role... It takes 10 seconds to change it!

I used to have a roommate that would do that constantly. How hard is it? Honestly?!

When I go to the beach, I absolutely hate it when sand gets in EVERYTHING. especially my shoes. Sandy shoes are something I just can't stand.....

I have to add one more....When you're trying to sneeze, but you CANT. That drives me nuts, I have been in that position so much in the past few days...

I hate the beach in general for the simple reason that I could go and not say a thing all day, breath only through my nose, and somehow or another I get sand in my mouth...

Something else that bothers me are people who do not believe in science at all. This is the thing that chaps my ass more than anything. I'm getting pissed just thinking about it now.

I love to eat peanut butter but I hate the smell of it when other people are eating it. Also, I love eating potato chips, but I hate the sound of other people eating them. Basically, I hate people doing anything I'm not doing.

Bookstores where they let you read the books instead of just buying the things and leaving like a normal person.

I have no desire whatsoever to buy a book that someone has sneezed, coughed, or otherwise transmitted some really icky flesh-eating disease onto.

I wanna open a bookstore called Tinafl Books. And there won't be coffee or muffins sold, either.

That is very a sick and wierd. The amazing thing about the bookstores is that everything can be looked at for free....and for the most part it contains pretty clean people. The coffee smell is also what makes it great. Why would you want to get rid of all that?
