Weird chirp when capturing

Oh man! Hello everyone.
I'm just digging my HD100, but when I capture to my computer from the camera, I get this chirpy bubbly sound on the audio. Anyone ever heard this before??
Here's a link to a short clip so you can hear it.
I'm capturing by firewire into HD Connect by Cineform.
I tried various external drives and it's happening on all of them. I tried a different SD camcorder and it does NOT make the annoying sound. When I listen with headphones on the camera during playback, the chirp is NOT there.
Any help would be great. Thanks. Here's the link:

I didn't hear it. Tried it with my klipsh speakers and with headphones. Still nothing but the audio you intended to record.

I might be new around here, but I think that just might have been what was called an "April Fools Joke". However, if i'm a parinoid freak, then I did not hear that chirping noise either...
:dankk2:

The bubbling/chirping sound comes from a bad compression. If your bitrate gets too low, or your file is poorly compressed, that sound becomes apparent.

It is possible that it's your soundcard, but I'd think you would have heard it in your other videos as well, so I don't know. It's worth looking into.
