Out on a corporate run and gun with the 18-105mm lens and it starts zooming in all on its own.
Aggghhh...the camera was rigged with a radio mic and rifle mic plus a light so there were a few cables etc.
The first thing I checked was that none of the cables were fouling the rocker switches...nope all ok, I rebooted the camera, its still randomly doing it.
The solution, the top handle was slightly loose, not that you would notice, it just took a half turn on both mount knobs to remake the electrical connections between handle and body and the camera came good.
