Weird AVID Error

I can't find an answer for this issue so please help if you can or find the place where it says what to do. Thank you in advance!

This is the error:
Exception: DIOProducer – digital I/O device malfunction, DIOerr:PMDIOFormat::SetAudioFormat – invalid sample size – client value: 16, acceptable value: 12

That is what it is set to. Also, in the capture screen I have a red line/bar appear at the top of the video tab and green lines/bars appear at the top of the audio tabs. I have never had this before...does it mean something? You can see the red bar in this photo, with the error message.

I did indeed do this. here are my steps. First I removed the decks and channels. I clicked add channel, and added the generic deck.

Then, I made sure it was set to the basic, but wondered what these colored bars on top of my video and audio meant.

I then tried to capture and got this error:

I clicked more and it shows this message:

I hope this helps, find the problem. I searched for this problem at the AVID site to no avail. Looks like I will be calling them :-)
Thanks!
