I never had a problem with audio, but just yesterday I recorded an interview for which I borrowed a wireless mic set up. Additionally i plugged my shotgun mic in. Wireless on input 2, shotgun on 1. Audio over headphones was good. Today I put the tape in my capture deck and the audio skips, it's only audible every 3 seconds for maybe 1 second ... I take the tape back to my DVX (something I have sworn never to do) and the audio plays just fine ... anyone have an explanation for me? The heads on the deck are fine, it never skipped audio before and it's just in that one interview take with the two external mics ... Cheers for any info ...
