For some reason FCP is handling the audio of a bunch of clips I'm editing pretty strangely.
When brought into FCP the audio levels of the clips are very low and somewhat distorted at times. I brought them into Soundtrack to double check and they play back fine, good levels, no distortion...
This still persists after I trashed the prefs and double checked just about every setting... Any ideas what could be causing this?
PS- these are run of mill NTSC DV 16bit 48k files
