Weight of F35 + Interface Box

The specs I find for the F35 say it weighs 11 pounds, but I'm not sure that includes the interface box. Can anyone tell me the weight with the interface box?

The IF box is under a pound from what I recall. Back when I had my F35 it weighed roughly 11 lbs. with a PL mount and no IF box or battery plate. Kitted out with the IF box, battery plate, V lock battery (190wh), Viewfinder, top handle and Atomos Samurai (no lens or rigging) it tipped the scales near 18/19 lbs. Toss on a Red zoom 17-50 PL lens, mattebox, rails and shoulder kit and it was over 26 lbs. Why I remember these numbers from 3 years ago but can't recall where I left my shoes this morning will forever haunt me....

In it's lightest sans battery/sans len config (so camera, IF box, BP-9 bridgeplate, top handle, O7Q and Zacuto Eye - all the unchangable parts basically) mine weighed in at 8.6kg

Thanks Grug and Keith. I'm trying to see if I can squeeze one on a Steadicam Flyer (15lb weight limit). Sounds like I'll be close to 12 lbs with just the camera+interface box, leaving only 3 lbs for lens and follow focus.

The 11lb figure does not include top handle, right? That's with the camera completely stripped, no handles, nothing but the body.

Never bothered to test that myself, but I'd imagine so. Nothing on top, nothing on the bottom either. I don't think you'll get away with it on a Flyer though. We had a similarly lightweight steadicam on the Bollywood picture I did, and it couldn't handle the F3, let alone the F35!
