If you're shooting the reception as well get as many faces as possible. Couples love to see everyone that was there and what they were doing, as they were probably too preoccupied to notice everyone. Also, stay frosty. Memorable moments can happen without notice and they can't be re-enacted.

Re: wedding videos.

I got some advice and I never even shot one yet, I did edit one already though. Dont where your hip hop gear. Dress up just like everyone else. LOL ;D Also do interviews with the bride and groom. Ask them questions like :

1. How did you know he/she was the one?
2. Where did you meet he/she?
3. How are you feeling right now? (duh)
4. Do you think he/she cheated on you while you were engaged? (lol, j/p)
5. Where's my money? I want to get paid for this thing NOW!

Nah im just messin abit but yeah do those things and create your own great post work with it on your editors. Also yes interview the friends and family out there and stuff.

When interviewing, learn lighting and your um, shooting for distance, wait, i dont even remember the term. But just do your best! They will love it regardless. Unless you are playing some 2 Pac in the soundtrack of it!

Re: wedding videos.

Also, don't forget the exteriors -- the church, the bride's house, the reception hall, the limo, all that stuff. Will make for establishing and transitional bliss later.
