YAY you should see the video

listen to this, this is my first wedding

so i wanted "the kiss" to be good, and at a good moment in the song, and i was nearing the end of the video, and i was abely at the ceremeny so i kinda had to squish in stuff, which didnt turn out bad in the end. So im like 5 seconds to the song being done and, i gtutta fit the kiss in, the song has a nice lil kick fade out, so i added it there, and its look lovely with some effect i apllied the footage

adn at the end, there was a perfect shot, zoomed in, d.o.f was nice, framing, and it was of bride and groom, and they kissed eachother, but guess what, someone got in the way:)

Looks nice dude - interested to see the entire thing if they give you the ok. From the stills your posted, I doubt they'll be dissappointed.

$110 is not very much...

what kind of package did you give them, and how long did you work? I guess for a first wedding you just have to get your foot in the door.

well i told them 100, if u dont like it u dont gutta pay me, i had the dvx with me, and acrappy tripod.....so ya i didnt expect much, my next wedding will be about 200 cuz this video looks nice

i worked about 8 hours in total including editing

I did my first wedding the other day for Au $50, that's about US $40! It was for a mate and was just for the experience and a legit invoice, I dvd authored in Encore 2 so they got a hell of a deal.

Great job!! Im impressed. Can't wait till I get going and shooting some projects. Keep up the great work!

guys, im gnoig to sew, literally......i made a quicktime movie on final cut, and its 260 mb, so i tried to doing an export IN quicktime, (i have pro) and everytime i pick sorenson, or sorenson3, and EVEn if i make it the lwoest quality possible to export, when its done, its like 280 mbs, what the hell? i cant get it t like 50 mb, even when i put the quality to the lowest.......

OK yeah my $110 figure was just for an established videographer.

If you're just starting out (like TheComo) or are helping out a friend, it's different.

What are you trying to do? Export it for web viewing or for the DVD? How long is the video?

Anyway, great stills - they were lucky to get the video for $100. Did you shoot squeeze mode as well or is it standard 4:3?

squeeze bro, and 24pA..............i got it on dvd fine, i use compressor (it looks weird on my HD tv, like blocky kinda)

ok so its 6:15, and im trying to get it on the internet.........its being all gay

Wait, you compressed it to 260 mbs and you tried re-compressing it again??

Export it straight from FCP, use sorenson, h.264, whatever, and play with the bit rate and experiment. The bit rate is the key, you need to customize the settings. I'd do some research and learn about this.
