Wedding Video - (1ST)

I filmed my first free wedding yesterday; a 300 Mile round trip...There were many lessons learnt...basically to not drive there and back in 1 day...
To not hold the glidecam practically non-stop all day :)
My left side was aching all day today :)
But Anyway I am still a bit tired after getting up at 5:30am driving 2.5 hours...then doing 9am-3:30pm and a 2.5 hour drive that turned out longer, arriving home at 7:30pm...
I'm sure alot of you have done things like this also...would like to hear some stories :)
So Today I started editing...I just had the urge :)
It took a while to upload; 3 hours for a 100 MB video...I think I need to get real broadband when I move out of parent home :)
So Enjoy the video...When I start Paid shoots I will hire an HVX for the back of church :)

Pretty damn fine for your 1st effort Phillip. Nice tones and warmth about the image and very clean. My only rhing would be to encode it differently for the web.

I suspect the reason for the huge file size is that your bitrate is set way too high, your frame size was only 640x480 so it shouldn't be 100mb. The video seemed to be very jumpy in parts and I think the bitrate is set too high for WMV.
Try using the H.264 codec. If you have QT pro, export a frame size at 1280x720, 4000kbps, Audio AAC @128kbps. You'll get a smaller filesize, smooth playback and a better quality image.

Very good! Nice music. What scene file settings did you use? And warming filters? What did you use to edit?
Thanks Andy :)...all I used was Shaun's Scene File but put chroma to 0...but that's all...The only thing I have is a normal UV lens that you'll probably have anyways :)
I may have changed the color temp up a bit by 1 :)
Settings
DETAIL LEVEL +1
DETAIL CORING +4
CHROMA LEVEL 0
CHROMA PHASE 0
COLOR TEMP -4
MASTER PED -10
A. IRIS LEVEL -2
GAMMA CINELIKE V
KNEE AUTO
MATRIX CINELIKE
SKIN TONE DTL OFF
V DETAIL FREQ THIN
PROGRESSIVE OFF

Thanks very much Shaun...I think it was part of your scene file aswell :) I set it to render at 3mps...Should I change it to 512KBS? It's morning now so I can have a look at the online video... :)

Edit: Just Re-rendered at 512KBS but looks a bit grainy...I was wondering...does the video buffer at a good time frame...I'll upload the 512 version too to let you see :)

Holy S***!!!! I can't believe you drove 5 hours man haha. I like the video though, did a great job
haha Thanks :) well it was 2.5 there :) but yeah...that was a bit mad especially after working all day...I did work out that early morning drivers are more aware of the road than when I drove back in the afternoon...people just drive like nutters... :)
Next Time I'll stay overnight :)

That was awesome, man. I respect that you put so much time into it. In the video I found something that probably wasn't planned, but right at 2:58 the camera cuts from the couple kissing to the bagpiper wailing out right was the guitar riff starts. Pretty comical. Well done!!
