Wedding videgraphers help

I am shooting a wedding for the the first time this saturday. the ceremony would be outdoors during the day and after they have a dinner party late afternoon and the party at night. the couple specified that did not wanted any bright lights coming from the camera so I am going to put some filter paper in the spotlight to dim down the light. can you guys tell me what settings to use in this situation and also what shutter speed to use. also the manual that comes with the camera says that F3 or scene park contain the settings suited to shooting for accentuating the subjects ( for shooting wedding receptions etc) any feed back about this, I also post this add at the cinematography section so dont read it if you have answer this one already thank you very much guys.
