Wedding Vid.

I made a wedding vid. for this couple to show during the reception. This is the 'grand finale', I wish I could have played around with it a bit more...but, well, you know how deadlines are. Obviously, still learning the DVX, and a little effects heavy in Vegas.

Critiques are welcome and encouraged.

Don't know how to upload very well. Here's the link on youtube.

the flow of the whole video was to upbeat, for a wedding video. it was a little heavy on the effects. there were too many pictures for me, i wanted to see more of the actual wedding

You put alot of work into it. I agree, Pictures are kind of quick, would try to mix to the music alittle more and maybe cut it in half. On the complete clip very contemporary and modern. You gave me Ideas. Good job!!

nice video, perhaps its just me ...

maybe I'm old fashion but I thought wedding videos should have a more 'romantic' feel to it.. in terms of music and look of the video.. my 2 cents..

Hey Whitey! (sorry, just wanted to say that )

I don't think I made it clear, but this is something that they couple is showing (the weddings today) at the reception or rehearsel dinner, not sure. Pics are fast b/c alot of them or actually all of them were used earlier in the video, this is just the emotional wrap up of everything. I used fast music as opposed to slow b/c I felt it captured the intesnsity and excitement this couple felt for each other. But I'd like to experiment with that more "romantic" feel.

I don't shoot weddings, kinda nervous about it cuz I don't feel I yet have developed the experience for it, and I'm out of the city for the time.

I feel back on so much effects b/c the orginal footage was not that great, it was o.k. But on the upside I learned SO MUCH about directing from this job.

For me, there's a little too much mash-up. A lack of rythm through out until the last (almost uncut) shot. And looking back I would do so much different with the blue screen/sky, that was an accident. Next time...

Anyone know of a better way to upload? Youtube is aight...Leaves alot to the imagination.
