Wedding Highlight w/ Big Budget

Very Impressive! It sure seemed like you had more than three cameras. The glidecam was very nice.

Great video from pre to post. Love the jib shots...all shots, can't do much with the rolling shutter (but that does not bother me or my clients), Very impressing 6min and 29sec. What kind of camera jib are you using and how many working in this event? Great job...love it. I'm a fan : )

I loved it. And I love that song too.

About what percentage of this was shot on the 5d?

If you don't mind, could you tell me (you can pm me if you like) how much you charged for this sort of thing and what you provided the client in addition to this? Did you provide a full edited ceremony video? etc. Thanks.

Actually I was going to ask the same question as Jackson. What did the client receive (number of dvds, Bluray, etc) and cost? Thanks again.... really liked it.

Thanks you!! There was only 2 camera ops. and I use a cobra crane.

Most of the prep was 5d. During the ceremony the shot shooting down the isle was the 5d and pretty much all the dancing was 5d.

I hate the video light shots but that goes for all wedding videos ever made. Have you tried in black & white? I'm sure your cliens will love the shots though.

I think you need more closeups.

What kind of lighting did you use for the reception?

Also watch for overexposed sky but that's kind of hard to do, I have yet to find a way without complicated color correction.

So by "big budget" that means....?

Try to find a way to show the ring at the end in a creative way and not just try to emulate StillMotion videos. Can't help you on that one though..

Great video

Great video. Only negative part is the shot at 5:30. Stuck out since its so dark, looks uncorrected.

Where did you get the beginning music with no lyrics that song?

i liked it. The dancing might have been better in over cranked with that music you had would work better. dancing fast to slow song looked a bit odd. what lights on the head table shots?

1 more thing... how long is your cobra crane? and are you pretty happy with the length or would you prefer shorter or longer? I want to consider a crane just not sure how long. Thanks again.

I've had it for about 4 years now. I remember the length, I believe it's one of the biggest ones they make though. I love it, takes less then 5 minutes to set up and I can do it solo no problem.

Well I thought you revealed the ring in a creative way. In some of your other videos it was very creative (in the tree etc). Also I like the hung up dresses in the videos.

But no info on the costs? Can you tell us a range or no?

Not sure what you mean by trying black in white. I may use a few clips in black and white but not the entire video. Video light? Do you mean the onboard light? or the lights on the stands? I used a small led for the dancing with a redrock should rig and on stands. I used two 300w arri's and one 600w arri. I normally expose for my subject not sky and if the subject is in shade your going to have over exposed sky. Would be nice to have a gaffer at a wedding to help with lighting huh, ahaha. Emulating still motion? I've seen a few of there videos but can't recall seeing the same ring shot. Can you link me to the video..

Impressive indeed! I must assume you at least have a couple PAs to help prep the crane and steadicam- I can't imagine how you could get that amount of coverage with only two camera ops without leaving equipment unattended.

Nice work.

I have met wedding videographers who charge a minimum of $25k to do a wedding and occasionally do one for up to $100k. There are people out there with money to burn. Not saying these people do a lot of weddings at these prices, but $4k is not really that high, it is decent.

Keep it up!

Dan
