Re: Wedding Grab

that kicker light on the groom(daylight I guess) looks good.
for some reason, every wedding i do now, people just want things to be dimmer and dimmer. i mean. what the freak?

Re: Wedding Grab

bodaphoto, you're just going to give us 1 grab. What da hell. Give us alittle more to look at. Maybe the brides grooms or something. Or food, yeah food would be good. ;D

Re: Wedding Grab

I just started on this wedding, I am editing it now. I just did a quick grab, it is a test, It's the first grab I did. I wanted to make sure it worked.

There was so much light coming in that church. There was the door that was behind them, then one in front of them, they had sky lights up top throwing light everywhere plus the windows. It drove me nuts! I have so much color correction to do because the windows were all tinted different colors, plus they had spotlights from the ceiling. It is nice church but hate doing late afternoon weddings there.

Re: Wedding Grab

You tell me, have you oever shot an Asian wedding? Them dam things can sometimes last 3 days long. Image the amount of hours I have to deal with. Benifits though are good looking women, good asian food, and good looking women. I had a total of 13 mini dv tapes. Thats hella capturing.

Re: Wedding Grab

I haven't done an Asian wedding, but I had a bride & groom who were from India. 1 was Hindu the other was Singh. They had two ceremonies at their respective Temples, one around Annapolis, MD the other at Silver Spring, MD. The same day. Then the reception was at the Hilton at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore. The party was to last pretty much all night. They wanted Photography & Video. When I gave them a quote for all they asked, they realized what they were getting into. I didn't shoot it though. It would have killed me to do that wedding.

Re: Wedding Grab

It looks like a good shot, but at that size, it's hard to tell - Boda, could you post in full 720x480/576 res?

Cool. We do most of our weddings around Salisbury - Ocean City. If we get a real big one I'll give you ring.

Re: Wedding Grab

Good-looking couple. But what's with the head of hair in the foreground. "Yo, down in front." You're the cameraman, couldn't you get a better seat. ;)

Re: Wedding Grab

P.K., it's just like real "cinemavision" forget black bars indicating the widescreen ratio of the theatrical release, the next evolution will be to have the silhouette of a bloke's head blocking out half the screen, just like when you go tto the movies...  ;D
