Again, I welcome critique & comments on my settings. Thanks in advance.

Watched the first half, skimmed through the rest, while listening to heavy metal :-p

Might've been the web resolution, but I found the beginning (:20) hard to look at and unreadable when you have multiple transparencies going in and out with the photos and such... red text I no likey... but that's just me. And NSTC TVs.

I might suggest some CC work to match up your EXT B-Roll. I dig the B&W or sepia or whatever you did... find a reason to use it more : )

The faux 3D perspective/pic in pic was fun, dug it. Some shots were dark, some were good. Thought the fireworks were cool for a sec, but it seemed to almost distract from the footage and get in the way after a moment.... maybe start it small like you have for just a couple seconds, then go full screen and use it to transition to your next shot? Same with bubbles perhaps...?

Keep it up

Thanks so much arges03 for such helpful & honest comments about my montage video. Yeah, perhaps I did overdo the DE Fireworks & Bubble special effects a bit. I have one question, maybe you could answer for me. If you watch the bubbles, you notice that they have a deep purple outline to them. I tried all kinds of settings in AE's Foam plug-in, but could not make the bubbles to look like real ones, ie, white, shiny & chrome-like in color. Perhaps I overlooked some setting as this was my first attempt at using the Foam plug-in.

I'll also try to use more sepia looks more often in my next montage & manage the lighting better. Thank you again for your contribution.

Regads,

Andrew
