Ive been shooting both at 720 /60p, but I'm
Thinking about shooting the wedding ceremony at 1080 /30p and the reception at 720 /60p.
Reasons: I can lower the shutter speed at 30p and gain a little light. I often only use on camera lighting at the reception and have to make due with available light at the ceremony. At 1080 I will have reframing options and be able to get more "zoom" since I edit on a 720 timeline.
Output is usually DVD and sometimes Blu ray.
I'm using hmc150s and an hck10 (hmc40) and about to add a gopro hero 3 to the mix.
I'm not a big fan of 24p due to jerkiness during pans, requiring super slow pans. Some people walk fast and my camera people still move too quickly.
Any thoughts or recommendations?
